Both Mike Jr. and Angelina expressed their disappointment and anger in an interview with the Daily Mail shortly after the film's release. Mike Jr., 41, claimed that the film had "destroyed" his father's legacy, adding, "My father is rolling in his grave right now."
He further accused Hudson and Jackman of ignoring his existence, stating, "Every time those actors appear on national TV, they fail to mention me, even though I was the most important person in my father's life."
Angelina also shared her grievances, revealing that she had no contact with King Princess despite being paid to consult on the film, just like her brother. She emphasized that the only truthful aspect of the film was the love between her father and Claire.
